Hyundai: A Creative Outlet
Another Collaboration with the Boys at Coloada Management in Miami
The Brief
We were tired of seeing the “all-flash no substance” style of videos permeating the market these days. You know the type: spots composed of nothing but “epic b-roll” and shots of the sake of shots that contribute nothing to helping the audience make an informed decision.
With this Hyundai spec ad, we wanted to create a short, stylized cinematic narrative with a clear end-user in mind. We did our research and determined who it was that Hyundai was targeting with their Kona line of cars and thought it would be best for our central character to be a young, creative professional who takes advantage of the car’s features to commute to work and carry all of his gear while still driving a stylish, compact SUV with all the bells and whistles.
We shot this ad over the course of 3 days in Miami at various locations to show off the product in a variety of surroundings and situations.
